Can somebody send me the links for WATK and MYMAP. I'm having a TON of trouble downloading MYMAP. It's making me look for sources on the internet and you have to buy it. When I find one I don't have to buy, I'm pretty sure it's not for EU2. Please help me! Thank YOu

WATK is here
MYmap is here.

They're in the Scenarios andMods forum - which is here

Which one do you like better. I downloaded Europa Portugalis (which I was kind of dissapointed in, didn't think it was that great) and I downloaded AGCEEP. I like AGCEEP but I kind of want to try a new map. Any suggestions?

I am very keen on WATK myself - it is much improved over vanilla IMO.

Interregnum is good too!

Okay it's making me look for the source or save. What should I do. Should I save it to EU2 because I did that last time and it didn't work. Also, if I look for a source, it sends me to some weird WINRAR website and I don't know what to download. HELP ME PLEASE!!!

When does it ask you for this? Is it when you download it?
I haven't had that problem myself.

All I did was to save the file (which I think is in .rar format) then unzip it into the EU2 folder.

When I click on the button to download. It comes up with one of those windows notices things and says WOULD YOU LIKE TO SAVE OR FIND A SOURCE FROM THE INTERNET? Also, so you save into a compressed folder, then unzip it into EU2? Unzip means extract all the info right?

I think you have to select Save. I use Firefox, so my messages are different.

There should be a readme in the .rar that explains where to unzip the files, usually you have to unzip the files into the EU2 directory itself - so it might be best to make a 2nd install of EU2 (copy the EU2 directory to another directory) just for the mod.

Unzip means to EXTRACT FILES right? Because I tried to save MYMAP into the EU2 file last night and it didn't change the game at all.

Yep, it should overwrite the existing vanilla ones - or add a new link to the .exe.

Where would the Link be. Because I don't think it's overriding the old vanilla ones.

Sometimes it makes a new shortcut in the EU2 folder. AOI for example does that.

Oh, okay.

Okay, It's not overriding the old VANILLA version. Should I delete something to get it to override it? I really need help, this thing is being gay.

It should do, that sounds odd.

Are there any instructions in the readme file?

NO, let me just tell me what I'm doing and see if I'm doing something wrong. I get the link and blah blah that whole thing. Then I download it into a compressed file. Then, I extract (unzip) the files into the EU2 folder. When I start the game up though, there's nothing different. Anything I'm doing wrong?

Also, should I put it into the AGCEEP file? Would that work? Because I have that too and it's in a TOTALLY separate file.

When you unzip the files, do they stay in the same directory structure, or do they all go to the root of the EU2 folder. Also, is it set to overwrite all existing files?

That's about all I can think of.

I don't know if it's set for that. How would I find out. Also, what do you mean do they stay in the same directoy structure?

It would most probably be in the options settings. It would need to be set to something like "Overwrite exsiting files" or something.

THere should be an option to extract the files and keep the files in the directories that they are in now - so the events go in the /db/events etc - if they don't then they will just pile up in the root directory, and it won't work.
