Hello there!

First off, congratulations for the game, it looks gorgeous and the UI is really neat.

I have a small , but rather annoying, issue. In either Ultra or Low details, every resolution. My fps goes from 60 to 25 ~ 20 every 3 seconds.
It's very weird, aside from that it runs flawlessly. I've tried to scan through my logs to see what could go wrong but found nothing relevant.
glxspheres64 runs 60 fps constant and doesn't stutter like the game so, my guess is it comes from the game.
I've tried to fiddle in the nvidia-settings too but changed nothing.

Do you have any idea how to fix this? maybe a secret command line option to append in steam?

By the way i have a Nvidia 1080TI latest drivers : 450.66-1
Running on Archlinux kernel 5.8.7-arch1-1
OpenGL 4.6

Any help very much appreciated
Thank you ! :)

Hey thank you kind sir !
I didn't looked there and i've found my answer.

For mysterious reasons, CK3 (But stellaris had apparently the same problem) scan constantly /dev/input .
Fixed it by removing my user from the input group. That group has been deprecated on Archlinux based distros.

$ sudo gpasswd -d user input

And now it runs flawlessly !
Thank you very much

I dont think Im having this problem on my Setup specs at the bottom. I have not noticed any graphical or framerate issues in my game, but then maybe Im just not noticing it. Going to try and do a comparison between CK3 & Stellaris with my setup as now and then remove my user from the input group and see what happens.
