Hey folks! I'm playing Stellaris (the native Linux version, not the Windows version w/ Proton) on Kubuntu 24.04 and was trying to pan the camera. I can pan the camera with the arrow keys, WASD, and by moving my mouse to the edges of the screen, but holding the middle mouse button does nothing. Is this a known issue, or is there something I can do to fix it on my side?

Solution
Thanks for the response! I found the issue, it's a user misconfiguration. I apologize for making a thread here for this but I'll still document my fix in case anyone else has this issue in the future.
I originally followed two stack overflow posts to restore Windows-like middle click scrolling behavior in Kubuntu, and somehow that broke camera panning in Stellaris. Removing the ~/.Xmodmap/ file and reverting the changes to my ~/.bashrc file fixed the issue.
I would provide links to them but for some reason I don't think I'm allowed to send links here, but a google search should find them:
how-do-i-disable-middle-mouse-button-click-paste
how-to-scroll-the-screen-using-the-middle-click

Edit: Did some further...
I just tried this under Ubuntu (the only supported distro) and it works fine there.

I don't know how different Kubuntu is, but maybe that is the issue here?

Edit: Did some further testing, both fixes (applied separately) result in panning being broken, so don't use either of these unless you're comfortable with edge panning or using WASD / arrow keys.
