Yes, it is. Github has the "interdiction" of Paradox. But instead of linking to a post in this thread, don't you have a separate thread?

Okay yeah, I suppose it does, but it's not a word that you'd use very much at all. My first thought was of the French definition, which probably means it's not common English.
The same way you could technically could use "lave" and "visage" in English, although no one who doesn't also know French would have the faintest clue what you're talking about.
