load an unload army

how do i load and unload armies and on what ? i'm new to this game and trying to figure how it's playing .. i'm reffering here to tutorial scenario ..

Send a fleet to sea.
Check its carrying capacity, so you don't get really embarrassed.
Select your army.
Right click on the fleet.

.
.
.
About a month later it will be loaded!

Oh, yeah, welcome aboard.

Additionally, I feel playing a few years of a GC is a better way of learning the game, as do many on these forums. I recommend England, but the majority seem to favour Russia for a newcomer to learn on.
