If the game crashed during saving, the save is probably broken. It is unfortunate, but there is little that can be done in that situation, except going back to an older save, like oldautosave if you have autosave on.

You could search the whole file, but that would take ages and also it wouldn´t garant that you find the error...
But did you have installed any mods, which could lead to such a problem?
And do you use last beta?
If you get a CTD during saving, the file will be incomplete and there is no chance of repairing it. If you get a crash during loading while the save went fine, the might be hope. (E.g. the "U019 bug".)
In general, use several save game files, use autosave, and save regularly after important events, so that you do not loose much if something like this happens. Also, play the beta like Castellon suggests, as stability is greatly improved.
