Which one would you reccommend if I am traying to set up a game in about 30 minutes from now with a friend whose phone number I know.

And what is the best way to set one up for EU 1

Oh yes, also I do not have a lan, this friend lives in a differenet city.

Where should I go if the Local is not a dial in; TCP-connection.

And How do I find my IP

And is chat aftivated by Pressing F10?

If your playing online use the internet connection. Local is for LANS. To find your IP go into the start menu click on run then type in winipcfg it should give it to you. To chat in the game you press either TAB or Shift+f12, but don't chat often as it tends to crash the game.

Great in 98 or ME, but in 2000 or XP, you must find out your IP otherwise:

go to start, go to run, type in cmd, and in the DOS box that opens up, type in ipconfig.

Okay, thank you, now I understand- I'll use chat sparingly...
I'll tell you how the game goes- but it will take a while, I tried to set up the Patch 1.10 on my friends computer, but his AOL kept crashing, so I'm burning it on a CD and will give it to him later.
