Nope. Must be at my end. It seems Windows Vista is far more capable adversary than I was prepared for.
Still get icq installed, all eu2 chat is on that.
Also remember to delete the " " empty space before the ip number or you won't find the game.

Not ingame - but all diplomacy during the week and instant help on joining is being done on icq. Don't do anything else with my icq either.
Still grappling with this. At one point, I had disabled the firewall on my router AND disabled windows firewall. At this point, any and all traffic should be allowed to my computer from the internet.
The relevant port was STILL showing as blocked using an online test.
What the hell am I supposed to do now? Is there anything else that could be secretly blocking a port without my knowledge? I play other online games all the time and have never had this kind of issue.
If you install ICQ i can probably be of some assitance, but mailing back and forth is simply way to slow.
I've currently talked to 7 or 8 people who are willing to join the campaign, so we'll be testing connections again wednesday at 19.00 CET, so that we can hopefully start the campaign next wednesday the 8th.

Well, there's one good aspect of FTG for ye. You can play from behind a router without actually forwarding anything. That's been my experience at least.
Denmark instead of Sweden? You're gonna be missing G2A and Karl XII when things get rough...
