I am interested in joinning dependent on whether we get enought people for a standard game or not.

my preferences would be strongly england. Otherwise i guess i can go with sweden or russia

If there'll be enough players I'll join as well. I am also waiting for some news regarding the FTG game before picking my the country's I'd like to play.

Currently I tend towards France Russia Austria or England in that order but depending on the setup I might also try out Spain or as a last resort the OE. If we start in 1419 I'd be very interested in giving England a try.

Still get icq installed, all eu2 chat is on that.

Really? Does that mean I have to (holds down vomit) play windowed?

Used ICQ about ten years ago- before moving to MSN. Why ICQ?

Also remember to delete the " " empty space before the ip number or you won't find the game.

I typed in the IP address manually.

This is beginning to look like a crowd :)

We'll most likely move the day to wednesday, as several more can play that day.

Not ingame - but all diplomacy during the week and instant help on joining is being done on icq. Don't do anything else with my icq either.

Nope. Must be at my end. It seems Windows Vista is far more capable adversary than I was prepared for.

Still grappling with this. At one point, I had disabled the firewall on my router AND disabled windows firewall. At this point, any and all traffic should be allowed to my computer from the internet.

The relevant port was STILL showing as blocked using an online test.

What the hell am I supposed to do now? Is there anything else that could be secretly blocking a port without my knowledge? I play other online games all the time and have never had this kind of issue.

If you install ICQ i can probably be of some assitance, but mailing back and forth is simply way to slow.

I've currently talked to 7 or 8 people who are willing to join the campaign, so we'll be testing connections again wednesday at 19.00 CET, so that we can hopefully start the campaign next wednesday the 8th.

Major nations will be the primary nations to be handed out, e.i.
England, France, Spain, OE, Russia, Denmark, Brandenburg, Austria and Venice.

That should leave everyone plenty of room to expand, and Denmark played since i like to play my own nation :D

I'd love to play but I can't play two paradox games at the same time when I've just started a new education.
