I would hate the map. Plain is just my right taste, while I find all different colours disruptive.
If I will have no need to reduce number of provinces,
Ireland island could stay with 6 provs (84000 kmq),
about Scotland (70000 kmq) the number of provs should be 6 at max
+ Northern Isles prov (Hebrides+Orkneys+Faer Oer).
I have: Alba, Argyll, Dumfries, Grampians, Highlands, Lothian.

You have Guatemala out of shape, and it is too far west. Belize needs to be pretty much like a vertical rectangle, because it was never that big. Rename Minca to "El Salvador" Rename Isthmus to Panána
