There are now at least four Empire level titles throughout Europe after 250 years of play. There's the Empire o Al-Andalus, the Norse Empire (me), the French Empire, the British Empire and the Holy Roman Empire. I was planning on converting this to EUIV so it is a little annoying, and it just seems illogical. The French and British Empires both have the King of England or the King of France under them, and they have most of the Empire's land, so it doesn't make sense that they listen to the Emperor. They don't need him, they could declare their independence easily. I thought maybe the situation would work itself out after a few generations but they seem to be staying together. Is this normal? Is there any way to avoid this?
Also, almost every single Nomad in the game has settled, there is one county left that is Nomadic. Is this because I turned the independence declaration on death on or is it because the rate of settling is too high? The Mongols have not invaded yet for some reason and it's a little disappointing to see the entirety of the steppes no longer Nomadic.
