Hi all

I don't have B&B but do have the Green Planet one plus a bunch of others that came in the bundle. With this in mind do people play this game modded? If so, what are the essential QoL mods that people use.

When I looked on the workshop the highest rated mods which appeared to be QoL ones for Green Planet era were often over a year old. I take it these would like not work now?

Thanks!

Many QoL mods have been integrated into the base game since release, so I personally don't use that many, but essential for me and currently updated to the latest version of the game are:

Recoloured Colonist Arrow Icons.

Lets you view issues with colonists at a glance without zooming in to them.

Add Progress To Training Section

Lets you see how long it's going to take for colonists to graduate from Schools and Universities.

Better Safari

Lots of improvements on the Safaris because in the base game they don't work very well and only very few Tourists every use them.

View Colony Map

Lets you view what the map is going to be like before launching and plan Breakthroughs etc. though that may be considered cheating :p

Forestation Plant Goes To 11

A must if you plan on Terraforming since Vegetation only grows until 40% naturally and the rest has to be done with Planetary Projects that you have to wait for to be available every few days and that's super-slow and plain frustrating tbh.

Better Zoom Distance (30K)

Personal preference as I like to view where everything is in the entire colony sometimes.

Many other mods I used are not updated and probably won't be anymore but none that I would consider essential.

Brilliant!
That's great. Thank you very much for the time you took with this list. :)
I'll check them out.

I'm more interested to know if there is any kind of general-purpose Unofficial Patch mod, similar to Ariphos mod for Stellaris (or the previous mod by Risa), or the Unofficial Patch for Skyrim.

Searching by "most popular" in the Steam Workshop suggests that that isn't the case.
