Hey guys,

I'm getting about 45 fps zoomed out and 30 zoomed in on max settings. Here is my computer:

i5 3570k@3.4ghz
Sapphire 7870 XT (a 7950 with a few less cores)
16 gigs of ram
game installed on an ssd

What I have tried:
it's not a laptop so it isn't using my integrated gpu
using -force-d3d9 in launch options

Still runs poorly on my machine. Anyone got any help?

Im getting around 17fps average no Medium LOD and Shadows at 1366x768. Zoomed in.
Zoomed out about 28fps.

This laptop isnt the best with its nVidia 720M or Intel i3, but it can handle even Cities XL at higher framerates, not to mention being able to play Subnautica, Homeworld Remastered, Divinity Original Sin and even Alien Isolation almost maxed out, smooth enough to be enjoyable. It can also handle extremely CPU heavy stuff like EU4.

So it definelty feels like i should be getting a higher framerate in this game than im getting. Because when lowering the graphics settings to nothing, i do see an increase, so im not CPU locked at the moment.
Gonna try to update from 347.25 to the 347.52 drivers, see if it makes a difference.

Ezikial, could you try going to Catalyst Control Center, make a note of the current 3D Application Settings under the Gaming tab, then set them to Default. If you get improved performance after doing so, please reply with your old application settings.
