I was just curious as to wether or not anyone is experiencing some very low FPS in Steel Division. Normally I get great frames on decent settings in Wargame: Red Dragon, but this is just very slow. I've had to lower my render resolution and most of my other settings in order to attain a playable frames per second. Anyone else experiencing this? And, if the devs happen to look at this post, are there plans to make it more optimized on full release? The game is great, just want to fix these frame rate issues!

Thanks!

Yes, it seems that this game is incredibly more demanding than Wargame Red Dragon.

What I found out: Lower Shaders instead. Putting shaders on the lowest option possible gives me an increase of more than 30fps, with most other settings on high to max and making steady 60fps possible. The game will look awful, but imo still better than using minimum on everything else

I have seen a few different things from a few different people, all with different setups. I know of at least one of my friends who has a better setup than myself however does not get nearly as good a frame rate on the higher graphics settings.

I personally get 50-60fps on Insane with a GTX 970 and an i5-4690K.

I would imagine that at the moment it is just an optimisation issue that is no doubt going to be improved upon before the game launches.

I'm running it on a laptop.

I run Wargame RD fine on mid-low settings.

I have to run SD on the lowest of settings, except for the "render reduction" since it turns everything into a blurry mess.
