Hi! I've got a Macbook Pro, Mid 2012 15.4". Has Intel HD4000 and GeForce GT650M with 1 GB of GDDR5 VRAM.

All other specs of the PC meet or exceed requirements of the "recommended" mac os requirements for Magicka 2.

I have attempted changing various settings in settings.ini including fullscreen to windowed, changing adapter index, etc - all settings have been reverted to the defaults at this time (I backed up the file before editing).

Whenever I launched M2 from Steam, the top titlebar appears with Magicka 2 and File and Help, the window Magica (r) 2 appears, then the screen blacks to go to full screen. It stays there maybe half a second at most, before blanking out. On the Dock, the magica 2 icon has appeared, then vanishes, like I just quit the program. This happens every time I attempt to launch. There is no crash log, the console log is created but is empty.

I've attempted using the Power/Energy Saver settings to disable graphics switching which is supposed to lock graphics on the higher-power GT650M.

I've attempted re-verifying the local file integry - it claims to be fine.

Help me Obi-Wan-Paradox, you're my only hope.

Hello,

Sorry for the delayed response. This is not something we have been able to reproduce ourselves so to get a clue what's going on we would like it if you posted a log from a sessions where it crashes. The logs can be found in the "~/Library/Application Support/Magicka2/logs" directory.

The game does indeed run without the Mumble overlay. It's strange that this works flawlessly on the PC. I'm hoping there's a standard that either yours or Mumble's team has not implemented correctly to support this. I'm guessing per norm, that you will call it their problem and they will call it yours, and us customers lose out, but I'm glad that I can at least play now on my Mac
Thanks for the log analysis,
-Scott
