Mac Parallels

I installed Rome on my MAC using Parallels VM.

After pressing START the following message pop´s up

"FAILED TO CREATE GRAPHIC DEVICE" and the game crashed.

Any idea what to do?

You cannot run this game under Parallels (or VMware). The video cards that they emulate do not support DirectX 9 which is required for this game (and EU3, BTW).

Your choices are to dual boot your Mac using Apple's Bootcamp and run it in Windows (you'll need a copy of XP or Vista for that as well), or return it to the store/Gamers Gate for your money back. Virtual programming have a native Mac version for sale http://www.vpltd.com/ .
