My computer is an iMac Retina 5K. My game campaign ran mostly fine up until the 1600s when the game would periodically lag. Until eventually I reach June 1650 and the game just stops altogether, loads for about a minute, and crashes. This happens now every time a few in-games days after starting. I've tried restarting my computer, uninstalling and reinstalling the game, lowering graphics quality in settings, verifying file integrity, and none of it has worked.

The only mod I've run on this campaign is Imperial Graphics which has worked in every campign I've done so far and worked in this one up until the June 28 1650 date. I tried disabling this mod as well and it still crashed all the same.

I sent a ticket to PDX support today and AndrewT recommended I post a thread here about it. Any help would be most appreciated.

@grotaclas I was hoping you could see any issues in that save that might be causing this!

(cont.) Forgot to add these
I should have asked before - can you test that save on any WIndows machine you might have access to?

I had a look at the save and it crashes for me on Linux as well. Unfortunately the exception.txt does not say what is happening when it crashes. It looks more like a general problem during the handling of the daily tick. This would make it difficult to find a workaround. I have seen a similar crash on reddit and it looks like the same or a similar crash to the following bugreport: https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/threads/game-crashes.1611297/
The bugreport is for windows, so I think the problem is independent of the OS.

@Zuriel492 I think it would be useful if you attach your save to that bugreport or create a new bugreport.
