Magicka 2 on PS4 Keeps Crashing

Since I installed this game yesterday I have not been able to actually play it. I get to the loading screen where it says press X to continue. When I do it crashes on me every time, regardless of single or multiplayer. I reinstalled it twice, restored licenses, and it still doesn't work. Does anyone know of a way to fix this?

Same issue here - haven't been able start a game at all. Repeatedly getting the ce-34878-0 error code?

Hi can you test playing without an internet connection? do you still get the same error in offline mode?

I tried playing offline and it did work, but when I went online it immediately crashed.

Had the same problem and tried everything util i change m'y default language to english us (was running my ps4 on french Canada.) non it's working

Mine still crasheses. Error code ce-34878-0 loading game from cloud at the beginning of chapter 2. Finished a 2.6 gig update beforehand

If i could delete the cloud save altogher perhaps that could help. It redownloads every time i delete it locally. No option to start a new game. Says it is corrupt and will be deleted. Deleted and re installed game and removed all local game data.

Same issue here. Crashes every damn time... I tryed to change the language and it worked but it still needs to be fixed.

Hi try deleting your save game and play offline(pull network cable or disable wifi)
Then enable wifi and go online after you played a level.

Does that solve the issue for you?

There appears to be a bug like this when the PS4 system is set to Canadian French only. Any other language, such as French French or English, is fine.

This will be reported to those that matter on Monday.

Not sure if everyone figured this out, but restarting my ps4 fixed the problem.

PS4 errors might look random, but they are actually pretty intuitive to understand. The primary identification of the problem behind the error code can be the prefixed alphabet pair. For example, CE means Common Error, E means Exception, NP means Network of the PlayStation, while simple NW means Network (speaking generally). The problem with each code can have different solutions though, and they're too detailed to write all here, so check out this link instead.
