Majesty 2 Multiplayer Will Not Work Through Steam

I purchased this game through Steam, when trying to play a multiplayer game on the internet I (and my friend who also purchased the game through Steam) get the following status' when trying to connect to each other:

Unable to connect
Version of the game differ
Server is protected by password
Unable to connect. The game has started

Now I suspect that the biggest problem here is "Version of the game differ". Please explain to me why this is since we both purchased Majesty 2 through Steam on the same day. And more importantly when this will be fixed.
 
I´ve got the same problem
My friend and i buyd majesty 2 on Steam. All Multiplayer "Servers" are shown with errors and are not joinable.

"Version of the game are different"

But in the right bottom corner we have the SAME version number.
 
Majesty 2 multitplayer no more available.

I try to play majesty 2 this morning and it say me : "internet multiplayer is not longer available for majesty 2"

Majesty 2 is the only rts with indirect gameplay , its a very good and rich game, uncommon and fun.

And many of players still buy it , and give you MONEY for play the small campaigns AND MULTIPLAYER.

So PUT THE SERVERS ON , and make a better multiplayer version now, its really a shame that we can't play on internet with friends. If its not done i will post on all forum that majesty and paradox games are unefficient on multiplayers , and i will say to everybody that its really a shame for your society.
