Before I reset my internet connection and configured my router to play MP I had no graphic issues with the game. First time I played MP ( only on vnet cuz internet still wouldn't work for some reason) I had these gray, tornado-ish, streakish pieces showing up on the map. The message box, left, and top menu are fine in how they look, but the map is messed up. Picture the map as a layered paper board - like a cardboard board game. Now take a quarter or something and start scratching off little pieces of the board cover spaced out perfectly every half centimeter. Just scratch off pieces all through out the map like that. Instead of the game board being brown underneath, cuz the cardboard showing through, it is gray on this game. Then, at random places in the map, there are inch wide, horizontal, highlighter looking marks.
This happens in MP mode and on single player mode now - saved and new games. Any suggestions as to why this is happening and how to fix it? My friend does not have this problem even though he hosted the first MP game. His is fine. I was thinking of - as I cry - uninstalling and reinstalling the game
