For those of you who are complaining that CORE is not an open betatest im sorry but that is not likely to change. The reasons for it being so have been stated many times by developers in earlier posts here, no need to repeat them again.

For those pondering over and obviously misinterpeting the term community open resource exchange I have to add that those words are connected and not to be read individually. OPEN is not the only word there. Community Open Resource Exchange means just that. You and everyone else is able to contribute to the mod and a lot of people who are not developers(yet, its a big step in becomming one) contribute by throwing out ideas and making proposals. More so on terranova.dk then here but most developers read this forum regularly if not daily as well. Instead of complaining that you cant have it all when you want it regardless of the condition of the mod at the time you want it, contribute. That is what Open Resource Exchange means. Anyone can do it, even you.

Does this mean that everything you submit gets accepted right away? No, it does not. CORE is the product of hundreds(yes hundreds) of people not just a handfull of people and of course every idea does not work with all others. Therefore things are discussed, thrown back and forth and balanced to fit into the overall direction the mod is going. That and giving you a product that is as bug free, and high quality as possible is the main concern of all the developers. If you think that makes us elitist thats fine. I say it mean we care about CORE.

Edit:
Barrabas your idea is definitely noted and will be taken into consideration after the next release.

But first HoI3 has to prove it's actually an improvement over HoI2. It certainly looks better, but the rest is still unclear.
What about Magna Mundi? EU3 is based on the same engine as the future HOI3. I definately understand your attitude towards the mass concept of CORE1. And your dedication towards CORE2, but you are loosing your fan base. I'd say you to hurry, and prepare for HOI3. Right now all of the attention is turned towards HOI3, and while loosing the spotlight might not mean to you anything, you might loose your team another time.

Hi guys! I'm one of the betatesters for CORE, and once the next release is available and ready for testing I'll post up some more screenshots for you. There were a few bugs that were causing major problems with the smooth flow of the war - with each beta release we have seen those gradually clear up, but it does take the developers a great deal of time, especially with any AI changes.

As soon as I have some decent screenshots for you to check out I'll post them up, most likely early next week once the next beta comes out.
CORE 0.40 is definitely worth the wait! :D

Just wondering about the screenshots? Would be much appreciated.

@Daisy - yeah sorry been busy with my newborn son lately lol but I'll post some pics up as soon as I can (next day or so!)

Are you sure about losing the fanbase? My Statistics (10000+ downloads) in 2 weeks time of the HOI2 Arma 1.3 beta patch say differently....

And Ghost -- Take all the time you need. Family first!

Then I hope you are right :D But do you have statistics that compare CORE1 and CORE2? Maybe the new 0.4 version will bring that what now is missing.
