Pretty much as the title suggests. It bothers me a lot that Persia is red for a number of reasons - they have a lot of blue in their architecture, lapis lazuli was one of their prime exports - but perhaps the two greatest points of contention for me is that their two greatest rivals in most games - Rome and Maurya - are a different shade of red and orange, respectively, making it so that the whole world from Bangladesh to wherever Rome goes, tends towards red if you play as Persia. Making Persia a shade of blue would also make it synch up with the Persian culture group and Zoroastrian faith, and while yes, you can form it as a non-Persian culture, the colour scheme that the game sets up for Persianate-associated things is blue! I mean, look at Parthia as formed by the Dahae! Lovely shade of blue. Even Seleukeos gets a nice teal. I get wanting to differentiate it from the Seleukids and Argeads, I suppose, but the fact that Persia has the same colour as their greatest historical rival for a thousand years irks me something fierce.

So yeah. Make Persia blue.
