Forming these ahistorical Empires is often very enjoyable, because it's sometimes quite challenging. However, as I mostly play from pagan starts, I often have either Elective Gavelkind, or play as an Elective monarchy to spice things up a bit. However, since these Empires leaves you with no DJ vassals making you the sole elector. This might seem nice, but removes some challenge from the game, which is nice to have since you're already a big Empire at this point.

So how do you reverse this change? Do you need to assign DJ territories to these titles, or can you just remove a part of the mod folder that changes these titles to titular?

Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance

There would be two ways, one assuming no/minimal modding knowledge and one with at least a moderate amount.

The no-low knowledge route would be to restore the empires as being de Jure in /landed_titles/. This method however would break every time those files get updated by us.

The other way would be to make a decision that assigns all at the start of the game, but that requires, as mentioned, a moderate amount of modding knowledge.

Either way, option #2 is something I'll probably end up making for the next release as a customization option anyways. Especially since the DLC is adding a nice UI for it.

What do you mean? That doesn't happen with titular empires -- I even just tried it out in-game, since you made me doubt, but it's as I remember: in a titular empire, all your vassals are electors. Was this just a supposition on your part, or something you actually saw in-game?

@NotAFriend did you perhaps mean in regards to changing CA, tax laws etc? I too tested it and the actual vote for the heir portion of the title goes off of de Facto vassals, not de Jure unlike laws themselves
