I did a silly thing tonight. My computer coughed to a stop because of too little memory left on the C: drive where I have installed EU2 a week ago... I tried to run Uninstall a couple of times, but when it didn't work properly I just went ahead and deleted the directory manually... When I now try to re-install the game I can't seem to get the option of doing anything but Play, uninstall or quit - out of which none works too well...

My question now is - is there a file or two to change? And, not being too computer savvy, how do I do it... Thankful for your answers!

(Is uninstall working properly, btw? I uninstalled EU1 easily)

just like for EU 1, you might require special steps. Check the running problems thread, the first line, "Uninstall the game" is a link to a post detailing this procedure.

Working!

Works like a charm! Thank you! You need to clear out the "install shield" files as well - at least on my computer.

where are they located? I don't have the retail version...
They are in a hidden directory in "Program Files" - or "Program" in the Swedish Windows - and a random subdirectory. Just laser away the whole subdirectory, since it will not be missed... :)

This is the same as for EU1 and is explained in the Uninstall thread :)
