Oh, I know how to do it... and I have done such things in the past in Photoshop, which makes it so much easier ... so it isn't really a problem for me.... I am thinking about other people who don't know how is all... ;)

first of all what scale will map be drawn on? is it going to be based on kingdom or dukedom scale or provincial scale with counties or shires represented on it ? like villages towns etc...it will give a good idea what the scale of game will be by what is choosen to be playing map

of course photoshop makes it easier, but we can't exactly assume that everybody has it... I was just saying it would take maybe a 10 sentence how-to and a bit of practice to make it quick and easy with paint

What we know so far is hints to abt. 900 provinces. That is 2-3 CK provinces for each EU province. These provinces are AFAIK ment to represent "counties".

what is the global progress in a feudal worlds that has no "states" or "borders"? :) all right all right you may say it is "the sphere of influence" :p well the inhouse alpha testing so far proved the last, third level of zoom to be useless... no planning, no commands, most ppl who play CK switch between zoom 1 and zoom 2, first to look up and second to manage. but i guess we'll keep zoom 3 since it's done already :).

Disregard if it was already mentioned in other discussions.

What I really missed in EU and would like to have in CK - is when you are zoomed out by pressing CTRL key to turn the mouse pointer into a looking glass and by clicking with it on a region to zoom in on that specific region.

Thanks for consideration.

While we're on maps - do you think we will get a hard copy map like we did in EU II? I thought that was great. It was very helpful when having discussions about the game and planning strategy without having to be at the computer.

Let's hope we get one.:)
