I'm struggling with making tunnels in the Map Editor.

Seems the Map Editor by default doesn't support this and I have absolutely no clue why the game shouldn't support this by default! But then we have Road Anarchy and Fine Road Tool & Fine Road Anarchy.
I'm using the latter, but have tried every mod out there that allows me to change to tunnels. But what I end up with, are tunnels that are "blocked", meaning that the entrances are covered with the ground surface - like the are sticking out of the grass. Also, it's impossible to connect any road to the tunnel roads nodes.

I've seen loads of tunnels on BonBonB's What Map map reviews, so I know that it can be done.
Please help a guy out that has been spending many hours trying to solve this issue. I'll appreciate you forever :p

Roads are rendered differently in the map editor. Highways and rail look a little raised, but they aren't like that in game. Same with tunnels. They look blocked, but they aren't once you load the map up in game. The game just doesn't cut a hole in the terrain in the map editor like it does in the game. What you see is completely normal.

It might be worth getting the Map Editor Tunnels Enabler mod to better work with tunnels in the map editor. It won't change how they look, but it's specifically made to let you make tunnels unlike the road anarchy mods.

Mange tak!

But I've tried exactly that, to load the map as a game and the result is the same.
I didn't know about the Map Editor Tunnels Enabler, I'll "dig" into that immediately! :p

Unfortunately, I get the same result :(

I did have Fine Road Tool & Fine Road Anarchy enabled, but had them set on normal road building.

I then disabled those mods and tried again. Same result!
