Map editor not working

I tried to access the map editor in both ways (console and Steam launch command), but the game always crashes and kicks me to desktop. If i try to access through console the screen turns black and the game crashes, if i try to access through Steam launch option (-mapeditor) on the upper corner when the game shows "loading savegame: 100%" the game freezes, stops loading and crashes.

I have seen this myself with an under-spec video card, as has this user:

Which one do you have?

I have a Radeon R9 280 with 3gb VRAM, i think that is above the required minimum specs. Also, the game itself runs perfectly without any lagging or such, so it probably shouldn't be because of my gpu.

Yes that is above the minimum, the recommended is the R9 380 in fact. Assuming you have a current video driver:

Ok, i probably shouldn't be posting in this thread anymore if it's for the bug reports forum, but just wanted to let you know that even after updating the drivers it still doesn't work. Hope it gets fixed in the future, i would really like to try it out.
