Map Editor: Terraforming - Contour Overlay, Off Switch?

Does anyone know if it is possible to turn off the elevation contour lines when using the terraforming tools in the map editor. They are useful in certain situations, but I find that they obscure the landscape a bit too much when I'm trying to give the terrain a certain kind of character.

You can try the "Persistant Resource View" mod: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=410842044&searchtext=map
Just select a different map mode, which doesn't irritate you too much. Don't know how good it works out though, but you could give it a try.
