Sorry if this has been asked before, but will a nice map like the one in EU2 be included in the CK box? I really liked the one from EU2. :)

I'm pretty sure this is dependent on the publisher, as the Strategy First EuII had the map, but other ones didn't.

I hope there is one. it would be nice..

There probably will not be a map, as there is no more reason for it than a HOI or Vicky map.
In EUII you had to explore the map, and so it was nice to see where you were going.

I think that size was the issue with HoI and Vicky. They would have been several meters long was the argumet if i remember correctly.

But since CK covers only a small part of the world...

One can hope.

Indeed, a separate map to have would be, considering the numerous little territories, an advantage when it comes to find one of these in the game.

I know that I must have a map included. I 'll be lost without it.
In EUII, I used the map to plan conquests and colonizations. Since we will be able to convert our CK game to EUII a map will be essential for me. I can imagine now, I'll have both maps on my wall and plan what areas to conquer in CK, so that when continue the game in EUII I'll have the provinces I need under my countrol from the begginning of the game. We'll be able to continue empires that never made it into the modern world.

Aside from Byzantium, which will be my favorite to see how long I can sustain the great Roman Empire. I'd love to see if I could get some obscure, little German Duchy's dynasty to rule the HRE. I'd also like to see if Scotland could ever dominate over England, interesting prospects. Can't Wait Any Longer!!

Like the Habsburgs, you mean? :D
In 1066 they are obscure, little counts. :p

Possibly, but wouldn't it be even better if to make another small, obscure family to become rule a kingdom or the empire itself, BYZ or HRE.

As a matter of fact, I often use the EUII map for the Medieval RPG, and for finding out what countries various obscure EU avatars (on the forums) represent. :)

Plus, the maps were aesthetically pleasing, especially all those little shields around the border. Perhaps this would work against piracy too (not that base pirates have any appreciation for art).
