- There's two stray pixels from what I think is Khotan in the middle of the Eastern Sahara.
- There's a 215;215;215 pixel immediately to the west of Lake Chad. I've searched around and there doesen't seen to exist any province with that color in the game.
- The settlement of Passau (maybe the other positions too, though I haven't checked then all yet) is inside the neighbouring province on the other side of the Danube.

That's all I've found as of now, but other than that, the mod is perfect.

Thanks for reporting those!

New link here.

I've fixed those pixels, the position of Passau, as well as some positions in landlocked Norway, and Cham (Bavaria).

One more minor glitch: The new West African gold mines aren't appearing on the map.

Thanks for updating so quickly, Talvos! This mod is indispensable.

Are those cosmetic map objects? If they are, then I'll add them in a few days I think, when I revisit statics objects from previous dlc as well.

I'm glad you all appreciate the mod!

I think these trees are in the wrong place.

Added, along with the older map objects (except Hadrians wall - it doesn't work nicely on this map).

Fixed.

New download link here, updated in original post.

Nice! Do you plan taking it further than just graphical update? New provinces or something? I really feel void after pre-RoI SWMH

For this mod specifically, no. I want to keep this mod as close to vanilla as I can - so no events, provinces, etc.

I play on a modified version of the map which does include new provinces (and Sicilian (with Greek and Arabic pots), Anglo-Norse, and Norse-Gaelic melting pot events), usually in areas that I want to play in (while trying not to go too overboard - but with how many provinces vanilla Austria has now I'm not sure that's possible). I could post that later if you'd like to try it - but consider it experimental, and not glitch free.

Any chance this beauty is compatible with achievements?

So first of all, I'd like to wish you a merry christmas Talvos, thanks for making such an awesome mod. Now, I found some more stray pixels, namely, Axum and Kabul, both on neighbouring provinces.

And last, I've been playing with you map for nearly two years now, it's now a nearly essential part of CK2 for me, and now that I'm wanting to start playing with CK2+ again, I'd like to make a sub-mod to it using your map. Basically, I'll just paste their provinces over your map, with a few alterations (mainly East Africa, but there's other places that bother me a bit that I might change).

It doesn't seem to be compatible with vanilla savegame. Other than that, this is a fantastic work. Interesting to note that Imperator: Rome uses a similar map projection.

Is this compatible with CK2+?

No it isn't and I don't intend to make one which is (feel free if you want to, but I don't want to invest the time into such a mod). You'd either need to (a) add the CK2+ provinces, and remove the vanilla provinces they didn't convert (yet?), which isn't too difficult, or (b), strip CK2 back to the vanilla map using a submod (ie. remove all their provinces, and references to those new provinces in the mod files) then use this mod. I've done something like (b) a couple years ago for myself (completely outdated - don't ask for it!), but it is a bit of a time sink.

any chance this will be updated for great works?

It should be compatible right now. This mod only really needs updates if a vanilla patch adds/removes provinces. I did upload a new version - a couple last positions fixes which I had forgotten to upload.

It would probably need to wait tell after the nudge tool is updated to show the wonders. But it might be a good Idea to update your positions file to include wonders and coastal wonders. As it is right now wonders do not show up on your map.

Oh ha, now that you mention it I remember 'great work' as a new position in nudge (when I opened it a couple? weeks ago), but completely forgot about it till you mentioned it.

I'll try to update those positions in the next week. They are (afaik) just cosmetic positions, and shouldn't affect gameplay.

love this map mod dearly - Iron Century update has added a few new provinces in and seems to be making the game crash when you try to play as someone with this mod enabled

i've done a quick fix for this mod - doesn't add any of the new provinces but makes the map playable once again. download below until Talvos has an official update:

Thanks for making that quick fix for people - I hadn't realized CK2 updated! I'm working on updating the mod now. Nudge has been fixed (and a nudge-crash which has been present since like v 2.0 has been fixed, which is crazy!), so I'm adding great work locations - which will take a little bit of time. Expect a mod update in the next few days, I suppose. For sure by this time next week.

Updated for 3.2.x, see main post. Included are the map changes, as well as positioning for great works. Report any positon errors, etc.

Oh sorry, I didn't see this comment - Oops! I'm glad that you enjoy it! Go ahead and make a submod for CK2+ if you want (if you haven't already/are still wanting to). I've played with doing that in the past, as I mentioned in a different comment. It'd be pretty straightforward copying over the provinces from CK2+ to this map. I'm not sure if CK2+ has updated it's province map for Holy Fury yet, and if it hasn't, I'd recommend basing the mod on the pre-Holy Fury version. But I'd take and trim the positions file from the most recent version (for great works positions).
