Map Movement Problem

Whenever I try to move my mouse across the map, the map continually rotates, tilts, and zooms without ever actually moving from its fixed point. I can still basically play game as everything else works fine just so long as I don't have to move across the map....:wacko: Also, I'm using Europa Rome: Gold which I bought from Impulse. I also have the sinking feeling I'm just doing something extremely nooby and stupid......

It works fine for me, and for everyone else here, AFAIK. Do you have an unusual mouse or mouse software?

Yeah I think thats it, its just I never had any problems on any other Paradox games so I guess I overlooked it. Thanks for the reply though.

Well, don't give up. What is the nature of the mouse differences you have? Have you checked for updated drivers or software?

Well it seems that I've come up with a fix for it, its a wierd fix but it works well enough. Basically I just turn on my mouse, switch users, log back on, and start the game and it works fine. By the way I have a logitech mouse thats never caused me any problems before so I never need to look for any updates on it, but I'll chech on that when I can.
