Hi --

Is there somewhere to go to find / review / download user made maps?

I've played with the map maker a bit but not had too much success with it yet and so I was curious to see what other users have made.

I'd also like to understand the height map stuff so I was thinking to take a custom user map, export the height map and open it in Photoshop to see what it looks like and then start making my own height map(s) to import for a new map.

As for height maps, you can use something like http://terrain.party
Although I will more than likely use things like l3dt for doing heightmaps etc, only because I have used it lots in the past for games like Arma 2/3
