Hi - I've tried starting 3 games as the Federation but the galaxy map always is the same. Is this planned? Thank you

I think only the minor powers have a chance to change locations not he majors. Also you may have more primitive (pre-warp) occupied planets depending on the settings you choose.
Starting areas for the majors is always the same. As are the locations for all the other stars (including their names), including if there are planets. However, the exact type of these planets can vary. In some games you''ll see a class M. In other games it could be a class D or L or something. And, of course, anomalies you encounter while surveying will be different too.
I mentioned this in another thread, I hope the devs are reading because this is something that I find really annoying as well. I hope they add a menu feature to turn on random start locations otherwise this will get boring really fast.
