Thanks a lot. But I realy don't have time to read all this. So can you tell me do it's possible to change sea into land? Just say yes or no.
Your question is strange. You can completely rewrite the map from scratch, changing number, form and position of all provinces, be it land or sea.
It just takes a lot of time and is pretty complicated to do.

It's not strange. All mods are based on the same map. And it's boring. I want to create mod with whole new world.
Each province is defined in "province.csv" file in "db" folder of your AoD install. Map editing guide was already posted:

if you dont have the time to read the guide on how to edit the map then i dont think youll have the time to actually edit the map..lol
No, I meant the question whether it's possible to "change land into sea" was strange, as you can obviously create a whole new map, not just change an existing province into sea and an existing seazone into land...

if you ever actually get around to working on the map expect it to take you a long while to actually finish if not make any progress. it took the mds2 guys months and all they did was add a few provinces, imagine how long it would take to create a whole new map of a planet!
not trying to discourage you though, a whole new world to play on would be pretty interesting, and im sure a lot of us would check it out and use it, including me. just expect it to be a quite a long term project if you only work on it to kill free time.
if you ever get around to starting the project and finishing it you can definitely expect me to be trying it out though.

I have try it on win. Vista and win. XP. I now I start cheking all of them and it works only when I set it on Windows 2000
