Great map mod!! What extracted files did you have to edit to redraw the province borders? I would like give this map editing a shot.
Actually, you must always edit 3-4 of them. They have all their own necessary functions:

Colorscale: a kind of background placed on the map. Without this, there will be no internal borders, only borders between countries. Also, without this, there will be no province names :/

Prov-ID: is the one who actually says which province is where. A list of which colour goes for which province-ID can be found in the ids.csv file.

Borders: The red dot-borders between different countries.

Tiles: Actually an overlay where you can put any extra graphic on the map you want. Mostly used to make rivers.

Beta version 1.2.2 is out. Mainly, it checks for some problems with adj-mod.txt

Download at the normal place, remembering to choose the beta link

Note that due to problems I have not been able to test it
Great! Thank you for quick response :D

I will of course tell you should I obtain any bugs :)

Yes;

But by the way it might be caused by me using old settings.txt file :eek:o
The new settings.txt file only has a single line added, and should not cause the problem.

But if the two provinces are adjacent to each other, then the adjacent maker will detect that they are adjacent by looking at your province id map. Then, it sees that you already have that listed and will report the warning. So this is WAD, if I understand you correctly.

Jamie - It was my fault, eyh :eek:o Your new adj-mod-checker works perfectly now, finding the connection I had added already ingame :D. (In a list with 272 border changes it's kind'a hard find such small thing :p)

ADukes - Yes indeed :) Just remember to delete as much as you add. Though you can delete almost anything as long as you use the adj-defs.csv to add them again ;)

BTW, check if your adjacent.tbl actually works. I may have forgotten to have MapMaker actually record the adj-mod stuff.

Should be fixed in 1.2.3b which is now out.
Yep, it's fixed.

Do you know what's causing the half red inter-country border line between Ismail & Constanta and the small one between Bucharest & Constanta?

Probably caused by some errors with connections. Check Konstanza's and Ismail's list of connections

But it's the original border without any changes.
You did step three first then five, right? Then copied all the files?

Please ensure that the bug is duplicatible and then upload the image files, settings.txt, and adj-mod.txt. Also anything else that may be applicable.Though it might take me a while to investigate.

Alternatively, you could investigate the included source code, and try to find the error.

I need help with the photoshop.

I have opened the map but I don't know how to make the changes with photoshop correctly.

I don't know how to change the borders. I open the border's photo but I don't know how to make the border go for one side or for the other.

I don't know either, in ID map, If I "create" a new province in the place only were one (dividing the province) how to "pint" it. I do a line with the pencil and I rellenate but it have not good appearance.

Can somebody explain me how to use it correctily?

Thank you

There is no "correct" way to change map, it's about using your creativity to find as good as possible solutions. Try your way through it, and your results will improve as your map editor skills grew ;p

The first time yes, but then I made additional necessary changes to the adj-mod.txt and rebuild the adjacent.tbl (Step 3) only, as you had told me in one of your earlier posts of the old thread.
So I guess I must run step 5 too after making changes to adj-mod.txt and adjacent.tbl, right?
