I finnaly got to the my core problem an error in the map extractor i didn't see at first (i think)...

Well they havn't been edited yet....in the setting .txt file i have set it to my cold war folder...

anyway when i tried again i got a different error...

Let me bump this thread to report what i think it's a bug. The program (latest beta, 1.2.3) seems to ignore adj-mod.txt because (as i said in the tutorial thread) the step three tells me to delete 19 connections, well, i write 19 connections to delete in adj-mod.txt, go through step three, but it still tells me that i need to delete 19!.

I say that it seems to be ignoring adj-mod.txt because without changing nothing (after going through step 3 a second time) it does not says nothing like "there is no connection between prov x and prov y so deleting it would not have any effect"

no not really it sort of crashes on startup. it says the program stopped working. I get the option to close program after windows stops analysing. I have vista. when I hit the close button it flashes some text faster than i can read or print screen or dump screen. so unless you can tell me where it is stored I can't hand it over

Invoke MapExtractor from the command prompt

Instructions if needed
Go into MapExtractor's folder. Hold down shift and right click. Find open command window here and select it. Type "MapExtractor" without quotes. Now the crash data should continue to be displayed on screen.

Hi. I have some problem in ID map.

Somebody can tell me what type of error is:

" El índice estaba fuera del intervalo. Debe ser un valor no negativo e inferior al tamaño de la colección.
Nombre del parámetro: index" ??

In english, more or less...

"The index was out of range/intervale. The value must be a not negative and smaller than the size of the (collection).
Name of the parametre: Index"

What I need to do to fix it?? Help please

Skolehaven: It would appear that one of the values in your colorscales.csv has a value not within the range 0-255. If you are actually allowed to have numbers outside this range, tell me and I'll fix it.

I think i am as the map already works perfect. btw all i need to do is fixing some minor incoherences. sounds weird though
