Hello.

I have just run into a situation where the recently added front merging leads to a very annoying outcome: In order to get my army to the front, it needs to march through enemy territory. During this time, it counts as in exile, which means it arrives at the front with near zero organization and 100% supply shortage. This is stupid. In the old system, there would be two different fronts here, and I could actually deploy my army to one of them, which would make way more sense.

In my opinion, one of these changes should be made:
-> Make sure an army does not walk through enemy territory in order to deploy to a front.
-> Don't merge fronts where armies would need to walk through enemy territory to deploy there.
-> Don't give penalties for exile and no supply when deploying to a merged front.

Report it as a bug and hopefully they'll improve the system soon

They definitely seem to have overlooked how supply lines work when they implemented the frontline merging system. I don’t know how technically feasible it is, but supply lines should be able to travel along the front and make the same jumps across gaps that the front itself does.

Yes I have noticed this as well, where previously troops would travel normally to a front, now they pass enemy territory and as you said reaching the front at 0% org. This also happens when there is a clear and clean route to the front all through friendly territory where supply is provided, they just ignore it and just use the shortest path between two points: a line
It doesnt happen super often but when it does its super annoying and quite harmful to see your troops crumble.
