With only a few days until Rome's (short term) future will be known I thought it would be a nice gesture to showcase another feature in MARE·NOSTRVM while we wait. It will not be as comprehensive as the last teaser but it will be something quite interesting nonetheless.

When playing as a monarchy you will normally “play” as the ruling family and thus have easy access to your most important characters in the government/council screen, however in a republic there is no easy way to keep track of the characters/family you “play” because titles etc. change fairly often.

To remedy this I have created the following:
govpoi.png

Where you can keep track of up to six characters at any given time.

Any adult character from the player's country can be put here regardless of titles, gender etc. and in “Map Modes & Settings” you will even be able to have the system automatically add/remove certain characters limiting the need for you to find them manually and mark them as Persons of Interest.

So whether you want to keep track of the heads of the most powerful families or are stalking the hot women (like me), you will have a much easier time doing so with this feature.

This is something Rome needed. Very cool. Now, maybe once CK2 comes out Rome will get an expansion so we can arrange some marriages and track our characters as they drive each other crazy, literally.

The interface facilities pertaining to censors have indeed been appropriated for this noble purpose :)

If you have some censors you are of course free to mark them as PoI. Same goes for a second consul if you are a Diarchy etc.
