Marriage help

So i just bought the game and watched the long tutorial. I started as a duke in Toulouse. My guy starts single with no kids and I can't figure out how to marry him. The only options I give are to marry off my single court dudes. It's a pain, any marriage help in general would be awesome guys. thanks

Do you have just CK or CK and its expansion Deus Vult ?

To marry someone click on the shield of another ruler and choose the option 'offer a marriage'.

yeah I figured it out. It seems that I thought I was offering for my male court guys but it was for me.
