Marriage Problem?

I have recently (3 months ago) bought CK and I am totally new to the forum. I have installed the latest patch (1.04a) and I think I have a problem. Before installing this patch (and playing with 1.00 version of the game), I could marry people from my court, as well as I could offer marriages to other leaders. Now (after 1.04a patch) I can't marry people from my court. Furthermore, I have a lot of people unmarried in my court, I try to offer marriage for them to other leaders (counts, dukes, etc.), who also have unmarried people in their court, but when I press the command "Offer Marriage" nobody appears in the list below (this works properly only for my heirs). So, all of my court remains singles. Does anyone know why this happen?

First welcome to the forum.

This is WAD. Now you can only marry of persons with the same surname as you. The others you can start breeding programs. The reason I don't know, I think because to many people. Also as balance there are people that spread in your provinces when you have to less courtiers. IIRC 3 for Counts, 5 for Dukes and 7 for Kings.

Let your daughters marry your courtiers and let their kids marry your kids. There is AFAIK no risk they get inbred.
