Mass tag change with wordpad?

I'd like to turn Turkey into the Ottoman Empire. I know, I could just rename Turkey and everything would be fine, but i don't want to do that. Instead, I want to replace every TUR with an OTT in all files.
I know how to replace all TURs with OTTs in one txt file, but that's still some work (espacially when I want to change other tags as well). Is there a utility which allows me to give it a folder full of txt files so I will replace all TURs with OTTs?

Notepad++ is my choice. Menu Search -> Find in Files... (and besides looking for text it can do replacements too).
