you've forgot to add the heagear weight for new dlc headgears armor in 04_headgear_armor.txt in gfx/portraits/portrait_modifiers

So the new headgears from the dlc never trigger (unless by babershop)

  • St Wenceslaus Cathedral in Krakow
Looking on the description in Polish on Steam, this description above is incorrect, this Cathedral is in Olomouc in Czechia (Moravia) not in Krakow, Poland ;)

Would probably have bought the monuments pack this if it had included at least one interesting special building for the Low Countries, one of the most neglected regions in the game, which doesn't even have a special building while there were many great buildings there that were constructed there during the medieval period.

I never play outside of Europe so the pack is not very exciting for me as a majority of the monuments are located outside of Europe. But I hope those who do buy it enjoy it at least.

Karelians shouldn't wear Sami clothing. The Sami clothing style is quite characteristic of Sami and doesn't find it's closest analogues among Karelian clothing styles. On top of that it is very questionable if anyone but Ostyaks should wear the Khanty clothing style.

This is the Mikkeli ancient costume which is based on the Tuukkala cemetery in Savo, which was in the sphere of Ancient Karelia. While reconstructions may not always be accurate, these newer costume reconstructions are at least a bit more grounded in archaeological research than the older ones from the 60s. Overall the clothing style within Medieval Finland, Tavastia, Savo and Karelia were quite similar and very unlike Saami clothing.

Love the graphic improvements for the map.

Can we finally get support for custom models for every locale, so each city, castle or church could look different… and special building models, like the Canterbury Cathedral, be permitted to replace the generic model, like a temple, all together?

Finally my power fantasy of owning 2 variants of male Khanty Low Nobility Clothing has reached fruition.

However unlikely, my CK3 power fantasies very often involve Khanty and Sami domination.

If they showed love to my Vepsians and Volga-Finns, my dream would be complete...
Edit: Just fired it up and the Veps and half the Volga-Finns get the new clothes!!! Awesome!!!

While the current Cathedral in Krakow is called the Archcathedral Basilica of Saint Stanislaus and Saint Wenceslaus, the first cathedral built there around the year 1000 was devoted only to Saint Wenceslaus. It was destroyed in 1038. After it was rebuilt by Wladyslaw Herman, the relics of Saint Stanislaus were brought in 1089, and it gained its second patron, thus becoming the Cathedral of Saint Stanislaus and Saint Wenceslaus.

The model ingame does not look like the current Wawel Cathedral, nor the Olomuc Wenceslaus Cathedral. While we do not know exactly how the first cathedral looked, it definitely was close to the style and vibe of the 3D model.

Yeah, I know, I live in Cracow ;) My point was not about the model itself but the localization, your post says that the Cathedral is in Cracow (which is correct, I've just checked that in the game) but the Steam description says it is in the Olomounc, so Steam got it wrong, you might wanna let them know ;)

I just had a look at the new special buildings in-game at noticed something rather pleasant, which are the special buildings which are located in either city or temple holdings have bonuses which apply to the holder of the county rather than the holder of the barony which contains the special building. Wouldn't it be worth considering revising many of the older pre-dlc special buildings which have bonuses which get applied to irrelevant barons be changed from holding holder to county holder?

For example the London Bridge currently provides a legitimacy gain bonus and cultural fascination progess bonus to the barony holder, except it's usually meaningless whilst held by a mayor due to the barony containing a city holding. Or Canterbury Cathedral's mighty upgradeable holder bonuses which are eiher going mostly wasted on your lessee bishop or incentivize one to form a lay clergy faith in order to hold the barony personally.

In contrast these new holder of county bonuses are very appealing and satisfying to behold.

On another note anyone else have mixed feelings on the shifting of holy sites away from duchy/kingdom capital locations?

You're right, apologies, my eyes somehow skipped the Steam page issue completely. I'll pass this info, thanks for pointing this out!

edit: the Steam page description has been fixed

To continue, I don't think the lamellar armor and clothes made of animal hides make sense for the Komi, Bjarmians, Mari and Merya.
