Memory leaks

I have EU 1.10, but I am still encountering a nasty memory leak problem running the game under W2k. I started the game way back in version 1.00, do I have to start a new game for all the fixes to take effect? Or is there anything else I can do? (besides buy more memory for the game to devour).

If you are still experiencing problems, I would suggest you restart a new game.

I have just put a sticky thread "My game is slow!" , that could help you. The running problems thread can also help you.

Defragmenting jus before playing the game can help you.
If you have below 128, it could be useful to upgrade to 128, as you will need it anyway under EU 2.

Also, once you have annexed a few nations, the game should run smoother.
