I like playing as Japan from 1936 to be able to prepare properly, but upon creating Mengkukuo, I notice that (unlike the 1938 scenario onwards) the capital of Kalgan isn't included, with many other claimed provinces. In the 1938 scenario, Mengkukuo has two more provinces in Shanxi, more claims (the whole Mongolia, parts of China), but in 1936 this is completely lessened to one province in Mongolia and the upper part of Xibei San Ma (quite literally, inner Mongolia...). And although that would seem mostly historically correct...in terms of Japan's long term goals it isn't. Mengkukuo was created to bring the rest of Mongolia to it.

I was just wondering if there was any relatively simple way to change this? I've edited scenario files before, but there is no Mengkukuo file in the 1936 scenario folder. Just wondering if it would be possible to copy the 1938 file to the 1936 folder, and what necessary changes would need to be made to not mess the game up? All I want are the 1938 Mengkukuo provincial claims in the 1936 scenario.

Hope that makes some sense :S
