Is mod merging possible with WinMerge?
Just asking because I want to merge Peace Without Victory mod with NWO

TGC already has events from NWO. Why you ask about PWV? PWV is about interwar era and WWII, not about cold war era. NWO has exclusive CW tech tree, when PWV has classic tech tree from DH Full with my own improvements. In a case of merger between NWO and PWV, your game will crash without stops.
If you need a mod about WWI and Cold war era, play TGC
 
I can understand his frustration. TGC is very buggy and is in dire need to be fixed since the last patch.
Otoh, both PWV and NWO are bug-free and stable.
But try to merge mods coming from 2 different sources and you get obvious crashes.
 
I gotta say, that would be incredible if possible. I've been wishing Nikita would combine his two mods or at least go to the 1950's with PWV. I understand how difficult that would be, but wow!
 
PWV and NWO or TGC has a different economic system, flags and many other things. It would be pointless to merge.
A better idea would be to make TGC a bit bigger and try to merge it with Mixed Mod, All In One, Edge of Darkness, or something similar. Even if partially, it would be a huge stepping stone.

In my own version of EoD, I am trying to merge parts of TGC and allow the game to start in 1928. It is a lot of work and the potential for bugs is immense.

I am currently playing a test version of it.
