Hi all.

After the patch the message system is still broken. For example i set the "declaration of war" massage as a pop up, but nothing happend. it is just in the log at the buttom of the screen.
I tested it with a save from 1.03.

Greetings from Germany

there are 3 settings for each message, make sure you set the right one (or all of them if in doubt)

It doesn't matter. The message system is a total chaos. I can set different rules in game's menu, I can repeat this dozen times in a row in-game (clicking on pop-ups or log entries and in this way changing settings), but it is ignored - still many options show up as default. BTW, who are exactly "characters of special interest"? If even my direct vassals seem to be not... Frankly speaking, I spimply don't understand why i.e. I can't set pop-up+pause for every war that is declared and every peace signed (not by me, everyone). I like to know what's happening in the world. It was working without any problems in CK1.

Steps to reproduce.

Load up a vanilla game, no mods, start and finish a battle and the Victory/Defeat pop-up will not pause the game.

Modify the message settings from this pop-up screen using the icon in the lower right and enable this pop-up to pause the game in all three columns.

Dismiss the message settings properties.

Dismiss the Victory/Defeat pop-up and the next Victory/Defeat message will not pause the game, even if you start a new battle. Click to revisit the message settings and the middle column will be unchecked.

Recheck this and dismiss message settings. The next Victory/Defeat message will not pause the game, even if you start a new battle.

Click to revisit the message settings one last time, change the priority from pop-up to disabled and back to pop-up for the middle column. Check the option this should pause the game.

Dismiss message settings one last time. The next Victory/Defeat pop-up will work correctly.

It's not entirely saving your message settings configuration. Using Windows 7 32-bit (desktop) and 64-bit (laptop).
