Hello out of curiosity do you guys think this game will be based more on Micromangement or Macro" in your opinion? Thanks in advance.

Hmmm, my guess would be more on the macro level. Although perhaps not as macro as EU2 - seeing as how there will be more upgrades you can do to a province.:)

I think both.
On the one hand, you have fewer provinces that you control directly, and thus can micromanage more detailed.

On the other hand, you have your dukes, counts and whatever, whom you probably give guidelines, threaten to behead or otherwise coerce into doing what you want them to do, failing miserable in it.
This is what I'd call the macromanagement part :)

And you also have the possibilities to change laws/taxes etc., so even more macro... :)

Micromanagement becomes a nuisance only when you begin annexing like crazy....CK seems to have a totally changed policy about that, so I think it will be a fun game in that regard....

That would be Victoria - right in between - oh wait you mean as far as micromanagement!

I agree - CK will probably fall somewhere in between those two on the micromanagement scale. Let's just hope it more toward the EU2 end.:)

Nah, give me micromanagement !

I want to be able to decide by decimal points how much grain I give the peasants. I love micromanagement, however I am in favor of consolidation options for functions, like in HOI upgrading provinces, deploying forces from the pool, and convoys.

I want the micro, but I hope there are some option to consolidate functions, particularly for MP play.

I may have missed this earlier - but how fast does the game play. Are we looking at the same monthly decision points as in EUII?

If the main enhancements are in teh diplomatic / family control area, then we may skip through faster.

Hmmm I may be in the wrong thread

I am with you to a point Odin. The more detail the better. But to the decimal point?:)

Yep, not one ounce more then needed to get the maximum tax revenue back.

I hope it will be on a level similar to what I've read Victoria will be.
