Hello, I'm currently having a minor problem with EU - Rome. This crash only seems to happen when autosaving at the end of a year. This doesn't happen every year and seems to be fairly random. Here's a picture of the error, after the game freezes and I alt-Tab back to my desktop:

I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium 32, but this error sometimes occured when I had Vista. I know Rome isn't tested for Windows 7, so I'm not too fussed if there's no answer to this problem. I'm using Vae Victus 2.2, using no beta patches and no mods. I also have up to date drivers for everything and my PC is more than capable to cope with EU Rome.

No worries if there's no solution, as it's not a major problem, but it'd be nice to get it sorted. :)

Please run DXDIAG, Save All Info, and post dxdiag.txt here (first delete everything after the Sound Devices section so it will fit). Also post your Rome/settings.txt and Rome/logs/system.log files. Note that if you have installed the game in the suggested folder c:\Program Files\Paradox Interactive\Rome\, the active versions of these last two files will have been redirected to a non-system directory, like c:\Users\[name]\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Paradox Interactive\Europa Universalis - Rome\, where [name] is your user name. You may have to search your C: drive for them.
