Sup, I'm guessing i'm not the only one here, ever since the glowies at Paradox updated their glorious and absolutely proprietary launcher i can't get it to work properly with mods on steam.

Before you say anything, i got windows defender, opted-in on the Open beta launcher and slapped the following on the exception list:

Steam.exe (Admin right)
Stellaris.exe (admin right)
bootstrapper-v2.exe (admin right)
Paradox launcher.exe 2022.03 (Open beta one since that's the one i'm using+admin)
renamed the SQLITE file

None of the above work so i unchecked the windows ransomware protection, uninstalled Stellaris launcher through config pannel and reinstalled it through steam by running it, worked once then never worked again.I disabled the antivirus entirely and that did not help either.

I'd love to know how much goats i need to sacrifice to get this launcher to work fine like before. As of now i'm getting absolutely no notification of stellaris being blocked from windows defender antivirus history, i don't know why the launcher consistently drop spaghetties since the updates

Unfortunately i'm a 1K hour andy and i'm clearly enjoying it enough to post for a beg thread, please help.

Are you sure you don't have Avast or AVG as well? Because they are the apps overwhelmingly causing this.

2022.4 just came out last night, so please check that has applied, then add it to the WD Ransomware exceptions lists too.

Good luck!
