I still find the mini map quite irritating.

The game map shows land in brown color and water in blue while in the mini map it's exactly the opposite: land in blue color and water in brown (!).

If you look closer I think you will find that the land in the mini-map is actually grey, not blue. And if you look closer at the large map, the water is not blue, it's turqoise. ;)

That's no the point. If you argue that way there is even no need of a mini map anyway.

It would be bad if we had to scroll our way across the main map, wouldn't it? No matter what colours the mini-map has, it would help us avoid that. ;)

A mini map is a must!

I wasn't saying that... I was just saying that most of us already have a pretty good idea what Europe looks like, so even if the colors are reversed we can still tell where we want to click on the minimap with just a quick glance....

What?? :) English is illogical. The problem is, that a native English speaker cannot recognize, that he is speaking like a little kid in the eyes of a German :D

Seriously English is a language which is really too easy to speak, because you can build any illogical sentence and everyone understands what you mean. In the German language you have to be precise to explain things.

I'd have to disagree with you there. Word order is very important to meaning in teh english language. So you can say anything and have it make sense or rather have it mean what you intended.

However I do concead that english is filled with strange grammatical rules. You can blame the Danes, the normans the saxsons. And the many other invading scandinavian and germanic tribes for our hogpog of a languague with odd and bizzare rules. cant realy blame the english now can you? :)
