I'm in doubt if the following is a bug or just another example of the very poor AI:
In my latest 1.03b game as the Duke of Apulia, the Principality of Novgorod took control over the Republic of Venice around 1070. Venice's army (3k strength) parked permanently in a demesne immediatly to the south and remained inactive for years eventhough no one occupied Venice anymore. Even when I DOW'ed Venice (and Novgorod) and consequently besieged the demesne for years with a army less than half its size, the Venezian army remained inactive.
For me this is game ruining, no matter if it is a bug or shoddy AI.
